Is this the right starting point?
For experienced quality professionals and managers. ASQ determines the required experience, decision-making experience and permitted education waivers. Check eligibility separately from choosing a preparation course. The lectures are organized to ASQ’s 2019 CMQ/OE Body of Knowledge; ASQ began testing its 2026 revision in July 2026. The revision keeps the same seven domains and the 180-question, 4-hour-18-minute format, with modest reweighting and some added topics — compare the two documents on ASQ’s site before you schedule.

Practice, then decide what to revisit
QMET includes three 180-question mocks. Optional timed mode runs for 258 minutes. Every keyed QMET question contributes to its practice score; this differs from ASQ’s scored/unscored item mix and scaled scoring.
Read a section, answer a checkpoint and review the explanation. Use quizzes to identify gaps, return to the related lecture, then attempt a mock when you are ready. Retakes are available; no score predicts a certification outcome.
